All public schools and Parental Choice private schools in Wisconsin receive a "school report card" from the state annually. The information is taken from the state FORWARD exam, which is administered to students in grades 3-8. At Emanuel, the only students who are required to take this exam are those in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program. Parents also have the right to "opt-out" of the exam for their children. Consequently, Emanuel generally does not have enough students take the exam to have any data available on the state report card aside from demographics.
